<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">AHMEDABAD: In a bid to enhance bilateral trade between India and Taiwan particularly in the small and medium enterprises sector, the Confederation of Indian Industry has planned an industrial-cum-business mission to Taiwan from March 1 to 4, 2004.<br /><br />According to a CII press communique, the basic objective of the mission, which will be visiting Taipei and Kaohsiung, was to explore opportunities for joint ventures, collaborations and technology transfers with SMEs in Taiwan, in addition to facilitating capacity building, innovation and promoting usage of information technology among the small scale sector in both countries.<br /><br />In addition to interactions with Taiwanese government departments, the CII SME delegation would also meet National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, the Chinese National Federation of Industries, both of whom are CII MoU partners, and Taiwanese industry bodies.<br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
